Opening in Fall 2012:

PHASE I: "The John & Mary Duce Centre"
MERCI's newest group home, "The John & Mary Duce Centre", aka "John & Mary's Place", will provide supportive housing for up to 6 adults with severe to profound ranges of developmental and physical disabilities within a 6-room group home. The project will have 24-hour, 7 days-a-week staffing.
 
PHASE II: Administrative Office Building
The Office Building will be two stories in height and will include a reception area, eight offices, a conference room with seating for 16 people, two separate men’s and women’s restrooms, and a universal access kitchen, to be used as an instructional kitchen for the clients in the day program. A landscaped courtyard with outdoor kitchen and barbeque will be adjacent to the group home.
 
PHASE III: MERCI Multipurpose Building (New Construction)
A third building will be constructed in the back portion of the current 525 N. Chandler Ave office. This building will be utilized as a classroom for daytime use, and a gathering hall in the evenings. The multipurpose building will have handicapped bathroom facilities, a kitchen and an open space "great room".
